A Classroom Without Walls

Forest School allows for unlimited sensory play.  Whether children spend time jumping in puddles, picking berries, observing mushrooms or making forest tea, the forest educators encourage the children to use all their senses to navigate and learn in nature.

Our program inspires participants to engage in hands-on learning and increase their observation skills through child-driven flow learning.  Teachers use an inquiry-based teaching style and let the interest of the children direct the curriculum. Our outdoor curriculum emerges organically. The flow of learning is interest-led and determined by the natural rhythms of the seasons.   Studies are showing this the best type of learning environment for K3-1st grade.
